statement of faith
1
There is one God existing in three forms, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit who is the creator and sustainer of the universe.
2
The Bible is the Holy inspired and inerrant word of God.
3
Jesus is God's one and only son, who lived a sinless life yet took on our sins, died on the cross, and conquered death when he rose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will come again.
4
Forgiveness of our sins and salvation are for all who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, repent of their sins, profess their faith, and are baptized. Our salvation is by grace through faith, not by works.
our people
David Breeden serves as our Camp Director.
Jessica Breeden serves as Office Manager.
David and Jessica have been volunteering at Blue Ridge Christian Camp since they were in high school. Before that time, Jessica volunteered as a Junior Counselor. When they married and their own children became campers the Breedens began spending family vacations serving at BRCC. Before moving to camp in 2016, David served as an elder at New Hope Christian Church, Roanoke and worked in local government. When not at camp, David has a passion for meeting local ministry leaders and encouraging them in their important and often solitary work. Jessica has taught Kindergarten through Adult Education and is currently working to obtain her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Both consider a good day to be one that ends with local college students around their table. The Breedens have two adult children, Jack who works in ministry both at BRCC and as Youth Ministry Associate at Belmont Christian Church, and Zoe, who is in her first year at Milligan University, majoring in Communications and Church Leadership.
BRCC continues to operate, grow, and successfully share the gospel because of the hard work of dedicated summer staff, deans, and volunteers who love Jesus and the mission and ministry of Blue Ridge Christian Camp.
